Wide application of finned tube radiators
The heat medium (steam or hot water) of the heating system transfers heat to the room mainly by convective heat transfer (convection heat transfer is greater than radiation heat transfer) through the wall of the cooling device. This cooling device is commonly known as a convection radiator. The convection radiator made of heat dissipation finned tubes is generally called finned tube radiator.
Finned Tube Radiator
The finned tube radiator is a kind of radiator that is suitable for both steam system and hot water system. As a radiator for heating air, it is mainly used for air heating of hot air heating, air conditioning system and drying device. main equipment. Finned tube convection radiators are widely used in the heating and ventilation systems of current industrial and mining enterprises and large buildings;
Finned Tube Radiator
Finned tube radiator working medium: steam (<1.0MPa), hot water (<130℃);
1) The finned tube convection radiator should meet the working pressure and system pressure requirements of the heating system, and should meet the national or industry standards.
2) Rigid radiators should not be used in open heating systems and in rooms with high ambient humidity (such as bathrooms, swimming pools).
3) Verify whether the standard heat dissipation per meter identified by the product sample is ≥ the industry standard in JG/T 3012.2-1998. According to the “Standard Heat Dissipation Test Report per Meter” and “Pressure Test Report” of the products tested by the nationally recognized unit issued by the manufacturer, the test results are checked with the data of the product sample identification (the tested product is required to be a sample, nearly two test report during the year).
4) Check the appearance of the finned tube radiator. Each welding part should be smooth and smooth, and the machined surface at the interface should be fine and ensure verticality and flatness. The surface coating should be uniform and smooth, with firm adhesion, and there should be no air bubbles.
5) The applicable working pressure of the product is 1.0MPa for hot water heating medium and 1.3MPa for steam heating medium.
6) It should be checked whether the quality of the steel pipe used for the radiator is good (it should be a seamless steel pipe or a steel pipe for low-pressure fluid transportation), and whether the joint process between the steel pipe and the finned tube is tight (for the joint using the high-frequency welding process, JG/ T 3012.2-1998 requires that the sum of the actual weld lengths measured at each meter of finned tubes should be > 85%, and the uncontinuous weld length should not be greater than 50mm). The height of the fins should not be greater than the radius of the base tube, otherwise the heat transfer effect of the finned tube radiator will be greatly reduced.
