Fin Fan Cooler is mainly classified according to process flow, structural type, cooling method, ventilation method and application occasion, including dry/wet/dry-wet combined type, horizontal/sloping top/vertical/ring type, blast type/induced draft type/natural ventilation type and other categories.
Fin Fan Cooler Classification by Process Flow
Dry air cooler: completely relies on air cooling, suitable for cold areas or occasions with high medium outlet temperature.
Wet air cooler: through spraying water to enhance heat exchange, high efficiency but easy to corrode, less application.
Dry-wet combined air cooler: combines the advantages of both, suitable for medium and small processing occasions.
Classification by Structural Type
Horizontal air cooler: the tube bundle is arranged horizontally, and the fan is placed below or above, with a simple structure but a large footprint.
Inclined top air cooler: The tube bundle is installed at an angle to save space, and is mostly used for gas phase cooling.
Vertical air cooler: The tube bundle is vertical to the ground, which occupies less space and is commonly used in compact designs.
Annular air cooler: A special ring layout, suitable for specific industrial scenarios.
Fin Fan Cooler is classified by ventilation method
Blower type: The fan is located on the air inlet side of the tube bundle, and forced air is supplied.
Induced draft type: The fan is placed on the air outlet side, and the air flows from top to bottom, which consumes more power.
Natural ventilation type: No fan dependence, energy saving but low efficiency.
