Fin tube radiator also called finned tube radiator,it is the most widely used heat exchange equipment in gas and liquid heat exchangers. It achieves the purpose of enhancing heat transfer by adding fins to ordinary base tubes. The base tube can be made of steel tubes; stainless steel tubes; copper tubes, etc. The fins can also be made of steel strips; stainless steel strips, copper strips, aluminum strips, etc.
Any heat exchanger that adds fins to the heat exchange tube to increase the heat dissipation area can be summarized as a “finned tube radiator”.
Finned tube radiators can be divided into wound type; string type; welded type; rolled type according to the structure of the fins. Commonly used materials are steel; stainless steel; copper; aluminum, etc.
The most widely used finned radiator is steel-aluminum finned tube (wound steel-aluminum composite finned tube, rolled steel-aluminum composite finned tube). It utilizes the pressure resistance of steel tubes and the high-efficiency thermal conductivity of aluminum, and is compounded on a special machine tool. Its contact thermal resistance is almost zero under working conditions of 210℃.
Steel-aluminum composite tube radiator has irreplaceable advantages over other types of finned tube radiators.
Finned tube radiators are generally used to heat or cool air, with compact structure and large unit heat exchange area. They are widely used in textile, printing and dyeing, petroleum, chemical, drying, electricity and other fields.
