The offer of Centre of Innovative Laser Technologies includes laser welded finned tubes. This is the first such implementation worldwide. Manufacture of tubes takes place on two automated positions integrated with line for anticorrosive protection and tubes packaging after welding.
Finned tubes made by laser technology are characterized by a continuous weld with full penetration, even face of weld and proper shape. The implemented laser welding technology allowed to obtain high quality of offered products while increasing productivity by 600%. Laser welded finned tubes offered by Datang Fin Tube meet the requirements of PN EN 12952 pressure regulations and German Law TRD 201. The developed technology is classified in accordance with the requirements of PN EN ISO 15614-11 norm.

The fins (solid or serrated) are helically wound and continuously welded to the tube by a fully automatic laser finning machine. This new laser finning process produces a perfect fin-to-tube bond with lower heat input and improved efficiency in heat flow and resistance to corrosion.
